Dojobox begins with your template. Templates have pre-defined areas designated for content and are extremely flexible. We will get you going with a simple starter template absolutely FREE OF CHARGE.
We also offer a custom template design service. If you already have a designer, that's fine. We will provide special "tags" that can be placed into the HTML email design by your designer. These tags create some of the magic behind the scenes.
Next is the subscriber list. A subscriber or recipient is a single email address. You can either import your pre-existing email subscriber list (we can help with this) or you can start a new subscriber list from scratch. We will help you build your subscriber list by giving you a special form that you place on your home page or website. This form allows people to sign-up to your subscriber list. You also have the ability to manually sign-up new subscribers if, for example, they have filled out a paper subscription form.
Once you have your template and a subscriber list, you are ready to go! Just update your template with new content and send. You will receive feedback and data almost instantly. As soon as your subscribers start opening your newsletter or campaign, information will be sent back to the Dojobox system. Log into your account and check out the reports! You can see how many subscribers have opened your email and what links they have clicked on. This feedback is invaluable.
Dojobox couldn't be simpler. We charge a standard delivery and service fee of $20, then 5 cents per recipient on your subscriber list.
Let's say you're sending an email newsletter or campaign to a database of 1000 subscribers. To send this newsletter, you will be charged the $20 delivery fee plus 5 cents for each recipient, $50 in this case. This makes a total of $70.
We even let you try Dojobox FREE OF CHARGE if you send a newsletter or campaign to 5 or fewer subscribers.
Because we believe you'll love using Dojobox, we'll set you up with a simple HTML template FREE OF CHARGE. Your starter template will include your company's or organization's logo, contact details and a link to your website, if you have one.

Why would I pay to send my email newsletter? Can't I just use Outlook, Gmail or my host's bulk mailer?
That's easy! Firstly, for the reports. Dojobox provides invaluable feedback and data that you can use for reports, for understanding your audience better or even to help refine your marketing strategy. Dojobox also provides you with a sign-up form, perfect to place on your home page!
Secondly, better list management. As the number of your subscribers grows, you'll want to target your campaigns for the most relevant results on the fly. Also, using Dojobox gives your recipients a better experience signing up and managing their preferences, without you doing the work for them.
And lastly, deliverabilty. Mail from hosted website accounts, and even other webmail, may already be on ISP black lists. If you're getting a large amount of email bounces, it could be "guilt by association". We provide Domain Keys authenticated servers that are regularly scrubbed against abuse. On top of that, all of our email templates are tested against spam filters and are CAN-SPAM compliant.
Are there any hidden fees?
Nope, there are no hidden fees. There is no account setup or monthly access fee, which some service providers charge. You only pay for what you use. $20 per campaign delivery fee + 5 cents per subscriber. That's it!
How does billing work?
Great question!You will be billed directly via credit card for delivery service over 5 recipients. If your Dojobox account is being charged via credit card, then you will be asked to pay just before you send your newsletter or campaign. This is totally safe and secure. Additional services are billed via Paypal. Any special services we don't list on the sign-up form are invoiced with payment due upon receipt. We don't hold monthly accounts. Regardless of the billing method we use, you will only ever pay for what you send. So if you send only 6 campaigns per year, that's fine!
Am I locked into using you guys to design our template?
No, not at all. If you already have a designer, that's okay with us.
We will provide special tags that can be placed into the HTML email design by your designer.
How is our subscriber list managed?
We provide you with a subscriber form that you can place on your web page. We also will host your subscriber list as part of our service. However, we recommend you maintain a backup copy of your subscriber list.
What if I want to stop using Dojobox?
If you wish to stop using Dojobox, simply export your subscriber list and that's it! We will automatically remove any account that has been inactive for more than 12 months.
